New Delhi: Bigg Boss contestant Vikkas Manaktala apologised to Archana Gautam in the most recent episode of the show for his “neech jati ke log” (a low caste people) remark, which caused a backlash and earned the channel a warning.
Salman Khan, the show’s host, had criticised Archana for making disparaging comments about other housemates during her argument. A short while later, Archana and Vikkas Manaktala were called up to the confession room and told that neither the show’s producers nor its reality-TV format supports any sort of discriminatory remarks.
Vikkas expressed regret for his remark, and Archana informed Bigg Boss that she accepted his apologies and was relieved that he had seen his mistake.
Kya hoga Archana ka haal, jab one on one lenge Salman Khan uski class.😯

For those who are unaware, Vikkas’s argument with Archana Gautam started when the former stopped him from making tea. Priyanka Choudhary, who was nearby and was hit by the boiling water she flung on Vikkas, escaped safely.
Vikkas Manaktala was accused of making a casteist remark about fellow contestant Archana Gautam by the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC), and action was sought against him.
The Maharashtra state police, the information and broadcasting ministry, Endemol India Private Ltd, Viacom 18 Media Pvt Ltd, and Colors TV have all received notices that the commission has taken suo-motu cognizance of information obtained through social media.
